Would you like to Endorse the Conference?:
We ask all participating organizations to officially endorse the NYC Grassroots Media Conference. By endorsing the Conference, you are stating that you support the efforts of the NYC Grassroots Media Coalition to forge a powerful working alliance between community organizers and media makers.
The NYC Grassroots Media Coalition (NYCGMC), a project of Paper Tiger Television (PTTV) believes that in order to create a strong media justice movement we need to first build the underlying infrastructure that will bring diverse communities together. The NYCGMC seeks to raise awareness of the connections between social justice and media justice and provide spaces for media makers and organizations and grassroots community organizations to communicate and collaborate.
To accomplish this ambitious goal, the NYCGMC coordinate a number of public events, supported by technological tools, to facilitate networking, information exchange, and collaborative strategizing for social and media justice ends.
The NYC Grassroots Media Conference is a central component of this effort.
Endorsement:
Please support our efforts by endorsing the NYCGMC mission. Even if you and your organization are unable to participate either by leading a workshop or purchasing an ad or table, you can still endorse the efforts of the NYCGMC.
